Website Care & Support Plan Terms
Last Updated: 07/24/26
These Website Care & Support Plan Terms (“Terms”) govern ongoing website support provided by Beyond Logos (“Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the person or organization purchasing a plan (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).
By selecting a plan, checking the terms acceptance box, and completing payment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
1. Your Agreement
Your agreement consists of:
These Website Care & Support Plan Terms
The plan selected at checkout
The price and billing frequency displayed at checkout
Any written proposal, order summary, or additional scope approved by both parties
If a plan-specific description conflicts with these general Terms, the plan-specific description will control for that service.
2. Essential Website Care Plan
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, the Essential Website Care Plan includes:
Up to one hour of minor website updates per month
Updates to existing text, images, links, and downloadable resources
Contact-form and broken-link checks
Basic mobile and website functionality checks
Priority scheduling over clients without an active support plan
Monthly Update Limit
The Essential Website Care Plan includes up to one hour of minor website updates per month. Clients may request multiple minor changes, but all anticipated changes should be consolidated and submitted together in one email or request.
All update work, communication related to the request, and follow-up revisions count toward the one-hour monthly limit.
Requests exceeding the available monthly time will require a separate quote or may be scheduled for a future month with the Provider’s approval.
Unused service time does not roll over or accumulate from one month to another.
3. Expanded Website Support Plan
The Expanded Website Support Plan may include additional service time, pages, sections, content support, integrations, or other services specified in the plan description, checkout page, proposal, or order summary.
Only services specifically listed in the selected plan are included. Purchasing Expanded Website Support does not provide unlimited website work, unlimited revisions, or unlimited access to the Provider.
Any service limits, hours, deliverables, and request frequency displayed at checkout or in the approved proposal are incorporated into these Terms.
4. Services Not Included
Unless specifically included in the selected plan, the following services are not included:
New website pages or landing pages
Major layout changes or website redesigns
Copywriting or content development
Branding, logo, or visual identity services
New website features or advanced integrations
E-commerce, membership, booking, or payment-system setup
Custom coding or software development
Search-engine optimization campaigns
Photography, video, or stock-asset purchases
Emergency or after-hours support
Hosting, domain, platform, plugin, application, or other third-party fees
Work outside the selected plan will require a separate quote and the Client’s written approval before work begins.
5. Service Requests and Turnaround
The Client must submit website requests through [email address or request method].
Requests should be clear, complete, and submitted together whenever possible. The Client is responsible for supplying final text, images, links, login access, and other materials necessary to complete the work.
Most qualifying requests will be completed within [three to five business days]. Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of the request, the completeness of the materials provided, holidays, and the Provider’s availability.
Priority support means active plan members receive priority scheduling. It does not guarantee immediate, same-day, weekend, after-hours, or emergency service.
6. Work Exceeding the Plan
If a request is expected to exceed the plan’s available service time or scope, the Provider will notify the Client before completing the additional work.
Additional work may be:
Moved to a future service period
Billed separately at the Provider’s current rate
Quoted as a separate project
No out-of-scope work will be completed without the Client’s written approval.
7. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Provide accurate content, instructions, and account access
Respond to questions and approval requests in a timely manner
Maintain active website hosting, domain, and platform accounts
Pay third-party fees directly unless otherwise agreed
Confirm that supplied content, images, and materials may legally be used
Review completed updates and report concerns promptly
Maintain secure account credentials and authorized users
The Provider is not responsible for delays caused by missing information, unavailable access, expired subscriptions, third-party outages, or delayed Client responses.
8. Fees and Billing
The Client agrees to pay the price and billing frequency displayed at checkout.
Available pricing may change over time. A pricing change will not alter a service period that has already been paid for.
Monthly Plans
Monthly plans are billed according to the recurring schedule displayed at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, monthly plans continue until canceled.
The Client must cancel before the next billing date to avoid the next charge. Partial-month refunds are not provided after a new monthly billing period begins.
Annual Plans
Annual plans are paid upfront and provide 12 months of service. Unless automatic renewal is clearly disclosed at checkout, the Client must actively renew the plan at the end of the 12-month period.
Annual payments are nonrefundable after service begins, except where required by law or when the Provider terminates the plan without cause. If the Provider terminates an annual plan without cause, the Provider will issue a reasonable prorated refund for the unused service period.
9. Introductory Pricing
An introductory price applies only for the period stated at checkout or in the Client’s order summary.
Before the introductory period ends, the Client will be notified of the available renewal options and current pricing. The Client may choose to renew or discontinue service.
The Client will not be automatically moved to a higher-priced plan unless the applicable renewal and price change were clearly disclosed and authorized.
If an introductory plan is canceled before the introductory period ends, re-enrollment may be subject to the current available price.
10. Cancellations
Monthly plans may be canceled before the next scheduled billing date. Cancellation stops future billing but does not create a refund for a completed or partially used billing period.
Annual plans remain active through the end of the paid service period unless otherwise agreed. Canceling an annual plan prevents future renewal but does not ordinarily create a refund for the remaining period.
The Provider may suspend or terminate service for:
Unpaid invoices or failed payments
Abusive or inappropriate communication
Repeated requests outside the agreed scope
Failure to provide necessary website access
Illegal, misleading, or harmful website content
A material violation of these Terms
11. Third-Party Services
Websites may depend on third-party platforms, hosting providers, domains, plugins, applications, and integrations.
The Provider does not control and cannot guarantee the continued availability, pricing, security, performance, or compatibility of third-party services.
The Client is responsible for third-party fees and for complying with the terms of each third-party provider.
12. Website Access and Security
The Client authorizes the Provider to access the website and connected accounts as reasonably necessary to perform the selected services.
The Provider will take reasonable measures to protect Client credentials but cannot guarantee that a website or third-party platform will be free from outages, attacks, data loss, unauthorized access, or security vulnerabilities.
The Client remains responsible for maintaining secure passwords, account ownership, authorized users, backups when available, and appropriate security protections.
13. Ownership
The Client retains ownership of its website, content, branding, and materials, subject to any third-party platform or licensing terms.
The Provider retains ownership of its preexisting processes, templates, methods, tools, and intellectual property.
Completion of maintenance or support work does not transfer ownership of the Provider’s internal tools, processes, or reusable materials.
14. No Guarantee of Results
The Provider will perform services with reasonable professional care but does not guarantee specific business, sales, traffic, search-ranking, accessibility, security, or performance results.
Website performance may be affected by the Client’s content, third-party platforms, market conditions, user behavior, and factors outside the Provider’s control.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Provider will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from website downtime, third-party failures, lost revenue, lost data, security incidents, or the Client’s use of the website.
The Provider’s total liability relating to a support plan will not exceed the amount the Client paid to the Provider under that plan during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
16. Changes to These Terms
The Provider may update these Terms for future purchases and renewal periods.
Changes will not retroactively change a service period that has already been purchased. If a material change affects an active plan, the Provider will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect.
The effective date and last-updated date will appear at the top of this page.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before beginning formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the disagreement directly.
18. Severability
If any portion of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain in effect.
